There a many opportunities to play golf at Crofton Country Club.

CROFTON LADIES GOLF ASSOCIATION is celebrating 42 years.  We play on Thursday from April 1 to November 15.  We have two groups -- 18 holers and 9 holers.  We have a fun tournament every week.  We also have three major tournaments: the 18 Hole Match Play Championship; the Spring Handicap; and the Two Lady Team.  We have a trip to Ocean City every year.  LADIES ONLY!  We go for two nights and three days of golf!

The Crofton Ladies Golf Association (CLGA) is a member of the Suburban Women's Golf Association (SWAG),which includes eight member clubs from the local area.  Monthly tournaments are held at each member club throughout the golf season.  All 18 hole members of the CLGA with a handicap index ov 34.2 or below are eligible to participate in the team matches.  All 9-Hole members are encouraged to play.  This association of ladies plays regularly during the season each Thursday morning beginning at 8:30.

CONGRATULATIONS to the 2007 Women's Club Champion - JANE REIDY

The match play event was decided on Sunday, August 19th 2007.  Jane Reidy won 1-up making a clutch putt on the 18th to secure her victory.  Congratulations to Chris Felchlin, the runner up, and all flight winners for a great event!  Click HERE to view all Results.

CONGRATULATIONS to the 2007 Women's Handicap Champion - SUE DAVIS

The year-long match play event was decided on Saturday, August 18th 2007.  A GREAT MATCH that ended on the 20th hole. Contratulations to Jane Reidy, the runner up, and all finishers for a great event!

DEVINE NINE play on Thursday mornings at 9:00.  Officers for 2008 are:  Cathy Cosgrove, President; Barbara Lovett, Vice President; Tish Smith, Treasurer; and Sandi Yezbak, Secretary.

HANDICAPS  The offical handicap season for posting scores is March 15 - November 15.  A "true handicap" is based on 20 acceptable 18 hole rounds.  A "temporary handicap" is calculated after 5 gross scores and is updated with each new score until 20 scores are posted.
